Meet our New Member Educator!
To each potential new member,
I’m Ginny Anne, and I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to be this year’s Vice President-Member Educator for Kappa Delta. I’m from Macon, GA and I’m in human sciences with a global studies major and a business minor. I can’t imagine all the hard work it’s taken so far without the encouragement and guidance of my fellow Kappa Deltas.
Next fall I plan on ensuring that each New Member feels that same love and support, making her transition into college life as smooth as it can possibly be. During the six weeks of the New Member Period, my job is to introduce our new members to the older girls in the sorority, to each other, and to the values our organization holds dearest.
Our calendar for these young women is packed with exciting events and the most fun surprises. Many of the memories I know I’ll cherish for life were made during my own New Member Period. But the most important impact the New Member Period had on my pledge sisters and myself was no doubt the ways in which we grew- as young women, as students, in our relationships with each other, and in our relationship with the Lord. I can’t wait to witness the next group of girls getting to experience all of this alongside each other!
